happy 23rd birthday

Even though I am giving a talk in our first church meeting today AND giving the lesson in the third hour meeting, I had to give a birthday shoutout to my birthday boy. Happy birthday, Zachary! You are the best part of me and I didn't know I could love another so much. Thank you for making me a wife and, some day, a mother. I just know you will be the most amazing father and can't wait to see you as so. You're the best man I know + I learn so much from you on a daily basis. I love you, I love you, I love you! 23 looks good on you babe.

Harper May White: birth story

I don't often use this space as a journal so much anymore, but I wanted to revisit and write up miss Harper's birth story. She is 3 months old in about 3 days, now so I figured it was time! It looks like my last post was from well over a year ago (March of 2018!) and considering it is only 2 months away from 2020, I think it is safe to say I am not much of a "blogger" anymore! I like using Instagram to keep in touch with and keep our loved ones updated on our life happenings. Since my last post, LOTS has happened. Zach decided to stop the PhD at Duke, graduated with a Master's instead, got a job at Capital One as a Software Engineer and since has changed positions/teams to be a Data Scientist, we moved to the beautiful suburbs of Richmond Virginia, and then shortly after moving to Richmond found out I was expecting a baby!! Our Hospital Stay

Following the c-section, we had a 3 day long hospital stay... kinda more like 4 since Em was born early early Thursday morning. So... Wednesday morning to Sunday afternoon. It was so wonderful to be in that little hospital bubble of ours. Here is just a quick photo dump of our hospital stay!
